Guiness beer

My good friend Meirav asked me to make her brother a birthday cake in form of a drink. Her brother really loves Guiness, a dark Irish dry stout. So why not confuse him and get him a cake… I mean a beer… I mean a cake! I accepted the challenge and intended to make this beer cake stand gloriously. I failed miserably. With no skeletal support, the cake just collapsed on me. Luckily I had time to salvage it. I cut it in half and laid it down. It still looked awesome. Cheers!

חברתי הטובה מירב ביקשה ממני עוגת יום הולדת לאחיה בצורת כוס בירה. אח שלה ממש אוהב גינס, בירה אירית שחורה. אז למה לא לבלבל אותו ולהביא לו עוגה… אני מתכוון בירה… אני מתכוון עוגה! קיבלתי על עצמי את האתגר והיתה לי כל כוונה להכין את כוס הבירה הזו עומדת זקופה. נכשלתי כליל. ללא תמיכה פנימית, העוגה פשוט קרסה. למזלי היה לי מספיק זמן לסדר את העניין. חתכתי את העוגה לחצי והנחתי אותה על המשטח. זה עדיין נראה טוב. לחייים!
